Lost Jade Mongolion Idol Found!!!

PRESS RELEASE: LOST JADE MONGOLION FOUND!!

San Francisco, CA. Thought to be lost in the tomb of Ghengis Khan, the Jade Mongolion Idol was recently discovered. It is believed to have magical powers and it is said that anyone that possesses it will wield the strength of the mighty Ghengis Khan army. It was recently discovered by the famous archeologist Alexander Banned in a remote cave somewhere in the Khentii Mountains in Mongolia earlier this year. This rare artifact is currently on display under glass and heavy security at Super7 in San Francisco, CALIF.

This Jade version is a test pull. Unknown as to whether or not it will go into production. You can bet the demand will be there. There is so much detail on this figure, that unfortunately it tends to get a bit lost on clear or semi clear vinyl. I think a nice rub on clear vinyl would be killer....

In other news, check out the new Gargamel sculp in their suspended silver flake vinyl. It even comes with an extra Zag head!

Two New Reasons To Like Kamen Rider V1

I'm a sucka for Kamen Rider The First. He's OG, he's cool, classic and I like his colorway. He's the original insect hero before things got all crazy. Now you have two new reasons to dig him. The first is this insane 1/6 set from PERFECT STUDIO. At almost $400, this bad boy is gonna set you back, but imagine how cool you will be when you bust out this guy to all your geeky 1/6 pals? Gotta love the details like the weathering on the bike.

Now the second reason is much more agreeable with the credit card. This the upcoming new Bandai SIC version with a new stylized Kamen Rider and Motorcyle. I believe this is from a new live action movie coming out. Due out later this month for $75 for the set.

Rotobox Custom 8" Garada and Doublas Qees!!

Spied on Andy Heng's super blogtastic ToysREvil, these two custom 8" Qees from Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica are just killer!! Love to see what other characters they come up with. Is that a Mazinger Qee I see?? Yes, these are the same dudes doing that crazy Celsius Winged toy from Kuso Designer Toys.

BLObPUS Solo Show at Kaiju Blue Gallery!!

BLObPUS had his solo show at the new Kaiju Blue Gallery in Tokyo this weekend. From all accounts, it was a smashing success. Nothing beats the OG Blob in my opinion. This is one of the toys that started me down the slippery slope of Japanese vinyl toys. I could start a calamari restaurant with my collection. Thank you to Max for the hook ups.
