Imagination Asylum Toys: Titan Resin Action Figure...!!

I received my Imagination Asylum Resin Titan in the mail the other day. It's huge...! Clocking in at over 9" tall, this is a figure that will dominate your shelves. I'm blown away with the level of detail on this guy. Sculpted by the Dark Prince of Imagination Asylum Jeremy Dufresne, Titan reflects that vast amount of work went into it. It has magnets that provide articulation on both arms. Its swivals at the waist as well. Even the right hand has articulated fingers. Really amazing paint job. Nice weathering, fading, subtle color changes, etc. The best part? At $55, this could be the best deal on the interwebs. Get one today. You will not be disappointed. I'm getting another one right now.

Imagination Asylum Toys....!!!!!

I didn't know anything about Imagination Asymlum Toys until the Resin Toy Show at The Toy Art Gallery a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly, their Titan was one of two toys I purchased from the show. The caretakers of Imagination Asylum are the Dufresne Family including Richard, Jeremy, Chris and Ashley. Just like many of us, they are action figure refugees raised on Mego, Star Wars, Micronauts, Spawn, Transformers, He-Man, Lego just to name a few influences. Collecting somehow led to creating IA in 2005 where they create their own toys. Check back for more about this interesting toy company.
