Itokin Park x Amanda Visell "Bed Monster"

Here is the fully painted "Bed Monster" collaboration between Itokin Park and Amanda Visell. It will be released this Saturday, Sept. 11th at Amanda's Switcheroo Workshop in Pasadena. Limited to only 25 sets, it will cost $450 per set.

Itokin Park x Amanda Visell = Bed Monster!!

Unpainted Prototype pics of the amazing collaboration between Itokin Park and Amanda Visell. Itokin Park's cross-over appeal is well deserved but I always thought his toys were more cool than cute. It's obvious that Amanda and Kazu make a great collaboration since their style is so similar. The concept of a monster bed or closet is certainly not new, but it highlights that bit of edge that both Kazu and Amanda share in their art. I believe Itokin Park will be sculpting and casting all of these resin pieces himself so freaking out a bit on the potential uber unavailability. No release date set yet, but this set is looking awesome...!

What happens when Western Cute and Japanese Kawaii collide to form a perfect storm of precious adorableness?? You get Amanda Visell x Itokin Park. Here's a sneak peek of this madness spied on Daily Dujour.

Heres some in progress art of collaboration with itokin park. We’re working on a resin sculpture that I think will really feel like both of our art when its done. He’s sculpting it with amazing precision that I am not capable of. There is a language barrier, but we both speak the language of love…….and pizza.

It appears to be a set including a Mikazukin, a Teddy Bear and a scary bed. Accessories and extra clothes included? Looks promising. Anything with a Mikazukin in it has my endorsement..!







All I know is I want a set!!
