Secret Base did not disappoint at TTF this year. I hope Hiddy saves some heat for SDCC...! Above is the elusive Golden Usugrow Rebel Ink. Once mythical, it was up for general release at TTF. Maybe some will show up at SDCC as well?
One of the more interesting collaborations is this Ron English x Secret Base MC Supersize figure. When it was just a weird looking Ron English self portrait dressed up like Ronald McDonald, it was a pass for me. But now in clear vinyl with a Skullhead Butt-esque Skeletal insert, it's all of a sudden cool. Just goes to show you that there is nothing that clear vinyl and a skeleton insert cannot fix. I wished someone would slap a bit of paint on these guys.
Convex x Secret Base Skullbee collab. What struck me about this pic, is how large it is. for some reason, I thought it was smaller. I think I like it more now, but it would have been infinitely cooler if the Skullbee head came off like a helmet. I know...damn production costs.
And finally a White Flocked Usugrow Salvation Ink. Hmmmm...not sure this one needed to be made.
