Kanye West LA Crib For Sale: $4M

Check out Kanye's pad in LA. Up for sale for $4M. It looks like the rompus room for an extremely rich 8 year old. Which is what Kanye is I suppose. Looks cool and all, but dunno... i expected way more bling and less stuffed animals? Although I do have to give credit for the aquarium bath tub wall. That's pretty dope.

Now that Kanye’s place in Los Angeles is for sale, one gets a nice look inside the place. What we see does actually not surprise us very much. Pop art, Kaws toys, cartoon characters and more are mixed with modern Italian furniture and B&O sound systems. Of course there is also a good amount of Takashi Murakami in the place, an artist that Kanye has been into for a while already. By the way, if you are interested, the place is for sale for about 4 Million USD. Even though some of the art and also the furniture is great, the mix does not work for us 100%. It just seems a bit cold overall.

Giant Robot NY Prints and Pieces Show Online!

Our Prints and pieces show is now online and open for sales. It's the pieces that I feel will be of most interest to your readers. We've got several hand painted versions of David Horvath's My Friend Dave vinyl, 3 original resin pieces from Le Merde, original resins from Sun Min Kim, and hand painted vinyls and original sculptures from Yukinori Dehara. The cream of the crop however have got to be the LEDAVHARA resin pieces. A collaboration between Yukinori Dehara, David Horvath, and Le Merde, these guys come with 3 interchangeable hand painted heads (one from each artist). with each of the artists involved doing their own paint scheme for one of the figures. These are amazing pieces that you've got to see for yourself.

This is the East Coast debut for these pieces that were originally featured in the 2009 Giant Robot Biennale show at the japanese American national Museum in loas Angeles. Come check them out through March 24 at GRNY, 437 East 9th Street between 1st and A in the East Village, or online HERE
