Pushead Patchwerk Event at Toy Tokyo SDCC 2011

Pushead's "Patchwerk" event on Thursday at Toy Tokyo was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends including the faithful, die-hard and desparate Pushead fans. Never enough to completely go around, even some of the fans with higher numbers came away with something. Believe me, they were stoked to get anything. This year, Pus put a huge spin on things by not only inviting, but also collaborating with Aaron Horkey on two prints. When I saw them, my mind was blown.

Pushead had a marbled Siamese Captain, Skullwing and regular Pirate as limited production releases, plus several HP "Patchwerk" Captains and Pirates. The selection was drool-worthy

Aaron Horkey will make his first appearance at SDCC, as part of Pushead's PATCHWERK event, Thursday July 21 @ 4 pm at the Toy Tokyo booth (#5437). Aaron has made a beautiful silkscreened print entitled 'HOARFROST' that will be available. HOARFROST print package Details :

4 color screenprint (including 2 metallic silver inks) on French Construction Pure White 140lb cover stock. 12 3/4" X 9 5/8" print size. Comes packaged in a 2 color screenprinted and embossed envelope with 2 custom inserts and sealed with a wax seal. Printed in Minneapolis, Minnesota by Ben Lafond. Edition of 60 pieces with 10 artist's proofs. (Variant edition of 6 on black stock).

After the big freakout of Pushead taking SDCC 2010 off…..he's back with another crazed event for SDCC 2011! Pushead presents 'PATCHWERK' will happen on Thursday July 21 4:00pm at the Toy Tokyo booth #5437 (southside wall). 'PATCHWERK' will feature a variety of different items, from vinyl figures, handpaints, unpainteds, to books with the limited SKELETAL hardcover with giclee & silkscreened print, and SPARROW #15 with special limited SDCC 2011 bookplate, as well as limited giclee prints, and more! It's going to be a colorful visual treat….not to mention a totally top secret guest! Oh yea…and Mike Sutfin too.
