SDCC 2011 Galaxy People Exclusives...!!!

I really like the resin toys from long time Skullbrainer mondocoyote of Galaxy People. The toys are simple, great sculpts, feel great in hand and are very professional. I especially like his new figure Drexyl, the Ship's cat....person. Also the Vesuvian Devil in Rasta colorway below.

I said a while ago, elsewhere, that the Galaxy People universe was missing two major elements- big cats and radiolaria. Well, here’s what I’ve been working on- satisfies the first requirement. Actually it’s not even 3/4 finished really. When I’ve got the outside done I’ve got to start on the insides. Think Griffin’s neighbour’s cat!

Mondo has some new colorways and a brand new figure for Design Festa on May 15th. Check it out. Tokyo Big Sight. Booth A-198. ¥2,500 Yen each. If you haven't held one of these in your hands, please do. Very nice, smooth to the touch. Some of the best resins pieces around.

More Ilanena Customs for 10th Anniversary Dai Kaiju Card Monsters Show

I have to say the most amazing customs of the Ilanena 10th Anniversary Dai Kaiju Card Monsters Show were crafted by Ralph Niese aka Bruno Orbit. He took each monster and made a tiny diorama. Keep in mind that these toys are only 3 inches tall so the detail is incredible. My favorite is the Kaiju Wrestler on a coffee break below. Priceless..!
