Asuka Cosplay?

Well not exactly.... as I think one needs to wear an actual costume in order to actually cosplay. How about Asuka Cospaint? lol... Between this and the Hikaru's BxH Tee, Evangelion as become downright sexy..!

Bounty Hunter x Evangelion Tee

All of you Evangelion Geeks are about to receive some instant Street Cred courtesy of Hikaru of Bounty Hunter. Interesting new T-shirt from Bounty Hunter. Not sure if it's an official collaboration with Gainax. Comes in two colors. Will be released August 5th at the Samurai WebShop. Hikaru looks cool rocking it, why wouldn't you?

New Ayanami and Patlabor Revoltech Figures!!!

Kaiyodo's Revoltech machine continues to pump out new figures! Why not? They are cheap, super poseable and crazy addictive. You can't just buy one....

You dig Ayanami, eh? Pervert...she's only a teenager...I mean a clone...I mean and alien....you're a sick bastard! I like her too. Especially in the plug suit and more importantly in Revoltech flavor which means all kinds of super.....flexible....poses.

Slightly less...um..exciting is the new Patlabor Revoltechs including Helldiver which I think is the coolest.

then we have the underwhelming Brocken...

and Brocken OVA version...

All should be out December timeframe. Check out more great Japanese toys at AmiAmi.com

New Revoltech EVA-01 Type F!!!!

Kaiyodo is pulling out all the stops on their Evangelion license for Revoltech! They are now doing the hyper-stylized EVAs from the video game. I've been a little put off by these designs ever since I got this crappy set of trading figures. However, this Revoltech version of EVA-01 is looking pretty sharp I must say. Since Kaiyodo will inevitably busting out with the other two EVAs in this series, I gots to get it.

Wonderfestival 07 Report From Zenta Online!!!

Zenta Online is the sister webstore to the infamous
Kaiju-Taro. Whereas Kaiju-Taro focuses mainly on Japanese Vinyl Kaiju, Zenta Online features more Japanese toys, mecha, anime characters and the like. They are building up their selection and I wish they would dedicate a section to Votoms!! Prices are reasonable, but items sell out quickly so you need to check often. You know since it's the same guys that operate Kaiju-Taro that the service will be blindingly fast!! Check out their photo report from this year's Wonderfestival a couple of weeks ago and bath in all the mecha goodness!!!

Insane Five Star Stories Resin Kits. Very expensive and I would imagine, very difficult to build and paint! Some of the best mecha designs period IMO.

Highly anticipated 12" RAH Jin Roh Figure with all the trimmings. $200

This caught my eye! 1/35 scale silver Votoms by Max Factory. I definitely want this one!

More Armored Core Kits. I like the designs a lot, but don't have the time or patience for kits any longer. I wish they would move back to action figures, or better yet, go for die-cast ala Soul of Chogokin...if these aren't kits, someone let me know...

More Mecha Musumme Girls!!

Secret Base in the house!!

Evangelion Figures

I'm not sure what to think about these Evangelion v.2 designs. They look ok, but a bit busy. I do appreciate trying to take it to the next level and all, but I guess I will just have to see first hand...

Hard to improve on a classic design!!
