Every once in a while, something comes along that gets the blood pumping. Something that will excite even the most jaded collector. So when the interwebs were a buzz this morning of this upcoming 40th Anniversary Soul of ChogokinDX Mazinger Z set, I realized that some wishes do come true. I've always wanted a high quality robot with guts. I have a plastic Grendizer that has 1/2 painted and the other half is clear revealing the innards. I love it. One of my favorite toys. But this thing is on a whole nother level. It's a set including the hanger with the Mazinger Z skeletal system as the base. Armor panels are then added to complete the figure. Looks fantastic, but this SOC_DX line goes head to head with the Fewture EX-GOKIN line in detail and price. At over $460, this guy ain't cheap. Due out in December.
