As mentioned earlier, this week is big for toy releases. In particular, Bwana Spoons and Max Toy Co are releasing the 2nd colorway of the extremely popular Edward the Gator figure on Saturday, May 19th at 2:30pm at DoublePunch in San Francisco. Bwana will be there signing the "Bloodbath" edition as well as having some other custom Gargamel toys in his bag as well!! I somehow got a hold of the bloody Gator and was able to take these sneak peek shots! It's the best colorway so far IMO. Black with bright red/orange with gold spray. But I have to say up close, the 1st yellow slicker edition is quite stunning as well. The rain slicker is almost translucent. Both are beautiful and are bountiful with details such as a butterfly net and field bag that opens and closes!! Oh, btw, pom poms not included! That would be $5 extra. These are looking more and more tempting...Bwana stuff takes me back to my childhood--the subtleties of it. hmmm...I should get one, no?
