I recently received my coveted Pusfan 10th Anniversary Skull Pirate celebrating 10 years of Pushead fandom. Happy Anniversary Pusfan!!! Here's to another 10 years of Pusfan-dom!! I couldn't wait until this guy got here and he sure did not disappoint!! By far the best Skull Pirate in the series. Seriously, in another league. With this amazing metallic blue color and gold and green highlights, it's meant to look like a Pushead handpaint which are extremely rare and very expensive. Essentially, it's a poor man's, but big fan's Pushead production handpaint! All we can really say is WOW and Thank YOU to Pushead, David and Jon!! You guys rock!
Not part of the Pusfan celebration, but a celebration nonetheless are the latest Skullwings or "punkwings" released a little while ago at Superfestival. Beautiful clear vinyl with some 80's flourescent highlights which bring me back to Jr. High. They come with matching plaid plushie figures inside to complete the Punk attitude. What I like most about this release is that there seemed to be enough to go around. When there is ample supply, there is not much of an aftermarket. Flippers don't make as much money, but hopefully Secret Base and Pushead did. Hell, I was even able to get one below retail. It's a refreshing change of pace in this frenetic toy land.
Looking forward to the next Skullwing whatever color. More production "handpainted" Skull Pirates or clears are always welcome!
This looks to be good!! This Saturday, June 2nd at 11am, Super7 in collaboration with RealxHead will be releasing this completely new "Fungus" Chaos.
SUPER7 x REALxHEAD FUNGUS CHAOS
Super7 is proud to present Fungus Chaos!! This figure is 6" tall, cast in clear green soft vinyl with orange, white, and pink spray. The colors were selected by the Super7 staff and the final design was done by Real x Head. This figure will only be available through Super7.
Don't miss out on this moldy yet fresh new figure!
Available Saturday, June 2nd at 11am PST at Super7 Store, first come first served. $60.
EXOHEAD announced his latest exclusive colorways of his new Galtan figure. These would be the 2nd and 3rd colorways. If you remember, the first colorway was that insane X-Ray version which is clear vinyl during the day, but this nutty BLUE GID at night!
The 2nd version will be this metallic green guy above which will be released this Saturday, June 2nd at the Japanese retail store Garimpo.
The 3rd version will be exclusive to RFSO Boardmembers on sale June 6th, which is this GID with brown and blue spray. Looks crazy!!
I'm still holding out for the metallic blue and pink prototype colorway shown in this earlier post that also shows the origin of this character...
Number One Cronic! fan Andy from Skullbrain was kind enough to post these pictures of the latest Cronic toys we can't have from Design Festa in Japan recently. Unfortunately sold in very limited quantities as a show exclusive. These guys didn't even hit Yahoo Japan Auctions!!?? What's up with that? Flippers must be keeping the Cronic for their own personal collections!!
New York Artist Keith Ciaramello let his mad pinstriping skillz normally reserved for Kustom Hot Rodz fly on Japanese vinyl with amazing results!! He gave the Kustom touch to a Secret Base Mantis plus a Gargamel Desura!! I would definitely like to see more of his work on more Kaiju!!! The mantis has that whole Native American / Tribal vibe going on which suits the figure perfectly! I've got that whole "Predator2" movie flashback now...

The latest and greatest from your favorite toy company Gargamel!! GID Mini Dragamel?? All over it!! Blank Desura?? Gimme three!! Green Smogon?? I'll take it!! Thrashman? Nah, not my thing for some reason...Look for these from your favorite toy pusher...
Tim Biskup has taken the concept of the "Art Toy" one more higher. He produced a run of 25 hand painted clear full-size Dragamel's with mashed bits of other Dragamels and little pewter weapons inside as part of his "Ether" exhibit at Billy Shire Fine Arts in Culver City. Each War Dragon is signed and numbered with a special stenciled tin box. Pretty Rad if you ask me, but at $650 bones each, i'm gonna have to pass. I thought I could get over the gout in his neck, but can't seem to shake it... Pics from Flopdoodle.
